Hall of Heroes Alliance Treaty

Hall of Heroes Alliance Treaty

Alliance Scope
To establish stronger bonds with other existing guilds in that the involved guilds may use this alliance to benefit each other. Once an ally is established, it is communicated to all of the guild members of this arrangement and all dealings therein. Members of each of the guilds are expected to be aware of the alliance and adhere to the agreement at all times (both IC and OOC).

Commitment 1
Respect
– Disrespect to the allied guild as a whole or upon one of their individuals is defined as:

  • Insult or Harassment (beyond the tolerable amounts that can occur from time to time)
  • Jeopardy of well being (multiple training, multiple KSing, trapping, or abandoning unnecessarily)
  • Theft or Betrayal
  • Slander

Providing the severity of the case and proof given, any intentional or repeated shows of disrespect towards an allied guild will be dealt with through the following steps:

  • First Offense: Warning to the individual(s).
  • Second Offense: Repeat warning and investigation into the problem by both guilds officers.
  • Third Offense: Further investigation with possible reprimand of suspension and/or guild removal.

Commitment 2
Support
– Promoted grouping, public relations, multi-guild raids, support against enemies, and inter-guild trade and barter are all elements of support in an alliance.

  • Grouping: Allied guilds are encouraged to seek out other members for regular hunts and bonding, as if part of the same guild. This is not mandatory, but makes for better guild relations and better awareness of individual strengths and weaknesses as a resource to each other. When seeking members for a hunting party it is recommended to check within your own guild as well as an allied guild for additional needed members.

  • Public Relations: Recommendations for trade skills, “good press” to inquires on guilds, and other praise to individuals and the guild as a whole is encouraged. Contrary, slander or “bad mouthing” is not permissible and violates Commitment 1. The general rule is if you do not have something good to say, do not say it at all.

  • Multi-Guild Raids: The general terms for multi-guild raiding will be developed and a system defined in the near future and may vary from alliance to alliance.

  • Support Against Enemies: If an enemy is declared by either allied guild as a whole, support against that enemy will be discussed by the guild officers on a case by case basis. Lack of support regarding guild enemies does not discontinue the alliance, however it should be discussed between the officers, and the requested supporting guild should explain their decided status on the matter.

  • Trade and Barter: Allied guilds should encourage inter-guild trading of items and trade skill wares. Each guild should have a general awareness of what the other guild has to offer as a resource. Discount of wares and items is not mandatory, but it is encouraged between the guilds. Regular Trade and Barter sessions may be arranged from time to time to offer a chance for allied guilds to relieve themselves of excess wares and items before going to public auction.
